“Hi, I’m Matt!”

Feel free to call me Kearl or Matt, but I’m pretty informal. I have been teaching at Utah Tech since the Fall of 2008, and love nerding out with my students in all things tech. 

I’ve taught a lot of Web Development, SEO, Graphic Design, UX, IT, and HCI classes over the years. Previously, I worked in the private sector doing IT/Web for ~13 years, and have founded a few companies such as stgnews.com.

I have lived in St.George since 2006, but grew up in Southern Alberta, Canada. I love mountain/road biking, astrophotography, scuba diving, and rock crawling in my Jeep.
