ISCSI
Due according to date on Canvas
Assignment
You may choose any 3 Linux machines to perform this assignment on. Your task will be to demonstrate that you can correctly share and mount via ISCSI.
ISCI
Demonstrate that you can create a ISCSI target and initiator correctly.
Create 3 iscsi targets. These can be done on different machines if you want.
- The first target should be to a new partition like
/dev/sda6
. - The second target should be to one of your lvms
- The third target should be to a different lvm
On a single machine, format and mount your ISCSI targets, creating a file named yourfirstname.txt (i.e. joe.txt) within each mount. The contents of the file should be the output of iscsiadm -m session -P 3
(executed on client), followed by the output of df -h
, followed by the output of sudo tgtadm --mode target --op show
(executed on server).
Submission and Passoff
- We will likely pass this off in class.
